Since 2016, Migrant Resource Centres (MRCs) in Tajikistan have been providing potential, intending, departing and returning migrants with accurate, reliable and timely information. The main objective of the centres is to promote safe, orderly and legal migration, as well as to raise awareness about the risks and consequences of irregular migration.

A Migrant Resource Centre (MRC) is an organization that provides information and consultation support to citizens who are planning to travel abroad, are in the process of migration, or are returning to their home country.
